Saturday 27th September, 10am – 2pm
Following the very productive Volunteer Day earlier this year, we are planning another on Saturday 27th September. Once again, there will be plenty of jobs available to suit people of all ages and abilities, so we very much hope you will join us, if only for an hour or so. If you’d like to take part, or help with other activities that enable us to manage and maintain our wonderful site, please sign up via this online form.

Summer BBQ
On Sunday 17th August a wonderful afternoon was had by all at the annual Summer BBQ. Fabulous food, amazing weather, and a brilliant quiz thanks to plotholders Andy and David. Thank you to everyone who came and enjoyed our latest social event. We look forward to seeing you all again soon.

Open Day 2025
On Sunday 6th July we hosted our annual allotment Open Day. The weather was kind, the craft, plant and produce stalls did a roaring trade, the bacon rolls, BBQ, cream teas and cakes went down a storm, and everything was set to music thanks to the amazing “Mid Life Crisis” band. Most importantly, we raised over £1000.00 for St. Christopher’s Hospice, which is an incredible achievement. Well done and thank you to everyone who participated in this fantastic event.

Annual General Meeting 2025
Thank you to everyone who braved the cold weather and came along to our fifth AGM on Monday 10th February at West Wickham Bowls Club. It was great to see so many fellow allotmenteers, including those who have recently acquired their plots. Many topics were covered, including an appeal for volunteers to help with a range of tasks, the always contentious issue of bonfires (whether to burn or not to burn) and an update on our bid to improve engagement with the allotment community through effective communication and social events.

Christmas Drinks
Thank you to everyone who came along to our Christmas drinks on 15th December. It was wonderful to see so many plotholders on the day, and enjoy the festive spread provided by all the guests. The committee supplied copious amounts of mulled wine, beer and soft drinks, and it is safe to say that a good time was had by all.
An amazing range of prizes were donated for the raffle in aid of St. Christopher’s Hospice, with committee member Viv J doing a sterling job in calling the winning tickets – the number of prizes on offer meant few people left empty handed! An impressive £215.00 was raised for the charity and no doubt many family members found themselves with an additional gift or two in their Christmas stockings!
