West Wickham Allotments, located in Hawes Lane, occupies a site of nearly eight acres and provides over 200 plots to the local community. Established in 1912 on what was then farmland, the site retains much of its rural heritage, enjoying a wide variety of wildlife and a peaceful setting in which to appreciate nature, grow produce, and take a break from busy lives. We are especially proud to host 10 active beehives on the site, with approximately 400,000 bees in residence. Their wonderful honey is sold in our shop, otherwise known as The Trading Shed. 

Our allotmenteers are people of all ages, backgrounds and experience, united by an enthusiasm for growing vegetables, fruit and flowers in a friendly and supportive setting. You are very welcome to join us, whether as a plotholder or Garden Member, or just to pay a visit. The site is open between 10.30am – 12.30pm every Sunday, so why not come along and say hello, we are situated directly opposite Glebe School.
